Your kitties are so cute and my Felix sleep very often in the position like the lower cat, it's Millie right?
When I saw your hunting trophy, I had to think on something and Leni laughed already about it, when she saw it some months ago. Here [link] can you see me in 1981 or 1982. Today I would say, that's a real creepy little guy... :D I had a lot more trophy's in my room, that's just a small part of my collection. In the right lower side you can see a drawing of a deer I made, unfortunately I have no talent anymore.

Oh, you dd have this much deer antlers? Where did you get them from? They are really beautiful. I just have a few from flee markets, haha. Yes, the big grey cat is Millie.

I had a lot antlers from small deers and even really huge ones(zwölfender). My biggest ones were from Elk's. I loved deers and the most antlers I got from friends of my family and from my uncle. Single antlers I found in the forest when I walked there with my grandpa. Unfortunately I sold all the antlers when I was around 18 years old, to buy a car.

Elk in the german meaning of Elch (what is called Moose in English) or a real elk (american Wapiti Hirsch) ?

Haha, i know this. I alsdo sold part o my antlers collection to buy ths or that. Anyway, my mom did never suppoprt my passion because she is strictly against hunting.
But the deer you drew when a kid is really good. You do have talent and should resurrect it.

I meant the elk in the German meaning of Elch, but I had antlers of the American wapiti, too.

My mom had the same view like your mom about hunting. But unfortunately the stupid humans have liquidated all natural enemies like beers and wolves and therefore you need hunting to control the population of the deers. Okay, in Germany near the Polish border we have again wolves and I hope we get more and more also in other areas. In 1998 they saw the first wolves in Germany around the area Oberlausitz and in this year I was with the army in the forest, in the night I could even hear the wolves. ^^
Thank you very much Diana, perhaps I should really try it again. :)
